SAPPIN (South African Parenting Programme Implementers Network)
Brief: 
An advocacy film to introduce SAPPIN to a wider audience and generate interest in the network for government, funders and prospective members.
Delivery: 
A series of interviews with key players in the SAPPIN network and existing footage from member organisations to tell the story of how the network came about and its reason for being.
Impact: 
This film was distributed to media and played at SAPPIN’s launch event, their subsequent Families Indaba and has since travelled around the world to secure further funding.

Through a series of interviews with key players in the SAPPIN network and existing footage from member organisations, this film tells the story of how SAPPIN came about and it's reason for being:

  • to strengthen families through the provision of parenting programmes
  • advocate for government involvement and policy shifts in relation to Gender-Based Violence and support for parents and caregivers and
  • call on prospective funders to invest in SAPPIN and their critical work to help grow the network and make significant impact to communities across South Africa.
