The South African Parenting Programme Implementers Network (SAPPIN) is a network of experienced organisations who work to strengthen the voice of civil society working with families through collaboration and shared learning. SAPPIN endorses, advocates for and enables programmes to support families in building towards a violence-free society.
The inaugural SAPPIN Families Indaba was the culmination of several years of SAPPIN’s vision to highlight the work of the organisations within SAPPIN and desire to share the critical role of families and support for families in South Africa. The Families Indaba foregrounded that the family and support for families (in all their diversity) is at the centre of any sustainable change in our country and acknowledged the real and complex challenges facing South Africa with a call for collaboration around what needs to be done to progress and shift.
Our collaboration with SAPPIN to realise their first Families Indaba also included development of their brand identity, website, social media channels, internal comms, production of impact films and advocacy material to position SAPPIN as a credible voice in the sector and draw attention to the collaboration and innovation of the network as a whole.
Need an inspired event or conference beyond your wildest dreams?
Zama and her team shine in the incredible work they do in community - their creativity, energy, dedication and authentic engagement is just amazing!
Bloom & Stone has been an integral part of SAPPIN for many years and we are extremely grateful for how they have shaped our marketing, website, communication and most of all our Families Indaba - an inspired event that exceeded our wildest expectations! Bloom & Stone is more than just a service provider, they have become a valued and trusted partner and we look forward to growing our relationship as we grow our network!
I have never attended an event quite like the SAPPIN Families Indaba and think more companies should embrace this kind of forward thinking when hosting conferences. The setup and execution promoted collaboration and input from all attendees from start to finish.
Terri, Vanessa, Zama and the team at Bloom & Stone have consistently demonstrated their exceptional ability to translate storytelling into meaningful social impact. Our collaboration with them on the Vulindlel' eJozi project with the City of Joburg and the Tshepo 1Million initiative with Gauteng Province was nothing short of transformative. Over the four years they worked on Tshepo 1Million, their hard work, creativity, and connection with young people in communities were evident. Their live experiences, strategic branding and compelling theatre and film productions have efficiently conveyed our messages and engaged our audiences.
I'm impressed with the whole story.
Talent on it's highest level, keep up the good work!
It’s highly unusual and extremely valuable to work with a communications agency that understands the objectives of the non-profit sector so clearly and has such a sensitivity and commitment to reach the intended individuals and communities.
